The South Downs National Park is an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB), where you will find a web of superb driving roads that allow you to traverse the area with ease. Your route has been designed to incorporate powerful stately homes with fascinating history, historic castles, countryside pubs with great food and views, which will take you all the way down to the coast by West Wittering. You will then overnight at the legendary Goodwood hotel, a mecca for any petrol head, so you will have the option to put the pedal to the metal on a selection of their track day courses (availability permitting).
The quaint villages and towns that are scattered throughout the Cotswolds are impossibly beautiful like they are permanently frozen in time. Surrounded by rolling B-roads, the Cotswolds has to be one of the best areas to visit in the UK. Discover the idyllic village of Castle Combe and inspiring national trust properties such as Dyrham Park and many others. We have a choice of accommodation providers to make sure your stay is comfortable and luxurious, but we can also cater to a range of budgets.
Your trip starts off with a stop off in Windsor, famous for the royal fortress of Windsor Castle, wonderful ancient pubs and stunning architecture. Just an hour further down the road, through the lovely roads of the Chilterns, you will find yourself in historic Oxford. Die-hard Mini fanatics have the option to visit the original Mini factory should time permit. Oxford has a wealth of sightseeing options to choose from, take a tour of Brasenose College (aka Hogwart’s dining hall!), or ride a punt down the River Cherwell, before retiring to one of the city’s many traditional pubs frequented by Tolkein & CS Lewis. Finally, get some well-earned rest at one of our carefully selected partner hotels.
Your journey starts with a quick stop off at a stately home in Bishop Staltford on your way up to break up the journey. Synonymous with academia, Cambridge is where the leaders of tomorrow are groomed. Similarly to Oxford, the city boasts stunning architecture and a plethora of historic buildings and museums to visit. We have partnered with a stunning residence that is fitting for the location should you chose to overnight with us.
